Led by Kelly Taws, Athena Event Solutions was born from nearly three decades of hands-on experience, global projects, and a passion for meticulous planning. What began as a college fashion show evolved into a career managing high-profile events around the world.
Kelly’s journey into event management started with enthusiasm and a clipboard at a student-run fashion show. From that moment, she was hooked, not just on the buzz of event day, but on the planning, the problem-solving, and the way a well-executed event can leave a lasting impact.
That passion led Kelly to a role at Henley Royal Regatta where she developed her skills working with the HQ team, before moving onsite to the prestigious Stewards Enclosure. There she managed high-profile guests and upheld the event's renowned standards of excellence at one of the rowing world's most exclusive venues.
After a spell in the charity sector, Kelly moved into the world of global agencies where her love for working with different cultures flourished. With a decade of agency experience behind her, she took time to grow her family, but her love for the craft never left. She continued to work with global brands on a freelance basis, maintaining her commitment to high standards and thoughtful delivery.
In 2020, Kelly launched Kelly Taws Event Management Services, rebranding in 2024 as Athena Event Solutions. Today, she works directly with clients to bring clarity, calm, and confidence to every stage of the event process. Whether it's a complex international conference or a not-for-profit community event, her approach remains the same: organised, thoughtful and tailored to make her clients life easier.
